Aerial silks is a powerful, full-body practice that combines strength training, intelligent conditioning, nervous system regulation, and lymphatic system support—all in one fluid, engaging class.
In this practice, the fabric becomes both a tool and a teacher. You’ll build functional strength through pulling, stabilizing, and supporting your body weight, while developing joint integrity, grip strength, and core control. Movements are scalable, allowing beginners and experienced students alike to progress safely and confidently.
Beyond strength, aerial silks uniquely supports the nervous system. The combination of slow, controlled effort, rhythmic movement, and moments of suspension helps regulate stress responses, improve body awareness, and build trust between the brain and body. Inversions and gentle spinning stimulate the vestibular system, which plays a key role in balance, coordination, and emotional regulation.
Aerial silks also powerfully supports the lymphatic system. Because the lymph system relies on movement rather than a pump, the lifting, compressing, lengthening, and inverting of the body encourages lymph flow—supporting detoxification, immune health, and reduced inflammation. Many students leave class feeling lighter, clearer, and more energized.
Classes are taught with a strong emphasis on safety, technique, and body intelligence, while still leaving room for exploration, play, and personal growth.
All Levels Welcome
No prior aerial experience is required. Modifications and progressions are offered so each student can work at a level that feels appropriate for their body.
What to Wear & Bring
• Wear tight-fitting clothing that covers your torso and the backs of your knees (leggings recommended)
• Avoid zippers or clothing that could snag the fabric
• Please avoid heavy meals before class, as gentle spinning and inversions are part of the practice
Come ready to move, build strength, and reconnect with your body in a way that is both challenging and deeply regulating.
